The American Red Cross is part of The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the largest volunteer network in the world, with operations in almost 200 countries. Donations of clothing and items of value are welcome at some of their locations. If you're not sure whether they can accept your donation, please give them a call beforehand.
